Could this deviation from the accepted story be at least partly the reason for Benazir Bhutto’s death? From an interview with David Frost on November 2, 2007:

In addition to claiming that Osama is dead, Bhutto had stated publicly that the IAEA should have access to Pakistani nuclear scientist A.Q. Khan, the “father of the Islamic bomb”. Any half-decent investigation into the Khan network would likely turn up the cooperation of the U.S. and the U.K. in his efforts to develop a nuclear weapon. (The U.S. government looked the other way because we wanted Pakistan’s support for the mujahideen fighting the Russians in Afghanistan.)
I say again: From the perspective of Western elites, Benazir Bhutto is worth more dead than she was alive.
