If anyone had suggested to me 30 years ago, when I was a late-night Top 40 disk jockey in Philadelphia, that someday I would be a guest on Jim Bakker’s television program, I would have laughed — and suggested that they’d drunk enough for one night.
But I’m not the man I was 30 years ago and neither is Jim Bakker. He freely admits that he was wrong back then (his 1997 book is titled I Was Wrong), and that he never actually read the Bible until he was sent to prison.
Tom Horn and Cris Putnam were gracious enough to invite me along when they guested on The Jim Bakker Show recently, as I contributed a chapter from my forthcoming book, The Great Inception, to their new book, The Final Roman Emperor, the Islamic Antichrist, and the Vatican’s Last Crusade.
