Unraveling Revelation: The Golden Age

MANY CHRISTIANS have noticed that President Trump has promised to usher in a new golden age for America. Does he know the origin of that phrase?

We think not. Still, since we’ve written about the New Age belief in a golden age with the return of “old Saturn’s reign” in our last two books, we discuss the origin of the term in ancient Greek religion, how it was echoed in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a statue made of gold, silver, bronze, and iron, and how the pagan “prophecy” differs from that of Daniel.

Bottom line: A true golden age will come only with the return of Christ—and that will be preceded by iron mixed with miry clay.
